Kitchen Island Do's and Don'ts

Yesterday, I announced that early enrollment for my signature interior design program is open for the next 4 days (through Dec 31st). Today, I want to give you an example of what a good interior design service should be doing for your remodel project.

We often hear about remodeling projects becoming a nightmare, and they often do... BUT, there is one common source of these nightmares, and a good interior designer who knows residential construction should be able to help you plan around the nightmares.

Let me give you an example. When a homeowner plans their new kitchen on their own, they will likely know to visit a showroom and choose a countertop material, a backsplash material, and a cabinet style. However, a good interior designer will walk you through tens of other decisions you didn't even know you needed to make.

Below are a few kitchen island do's and don'ts that are often missed when professional design is not involved in a kitchen remodel.
