When I'm working on a remodel it really helps me to put all my images together in one place. I start by collecting ideas on a Pinterest board in a loose brainstorm fashion as I am researching and looking for inspiration. When I get more serious and start to make selections I cut and paste images together into an Indesign document. As I'm doing this I spend an embarrassing amount of time staring just staring at the material board I'm creating. It helps me get my head into the design, and then subsequent decisions come more easily because I know my direction.
